PM issues

for some reason im having trouble with pming forum members. I don't know why , but when i reply to a pm. I'm getting a reply to my self rather then sending a pm/reply to the intended forum member im wanting to reply to.

and if i do manage to reply. its going to my outbox instead of my sent messages. Is this how its suppose to be?

If someone can clarify or explain to me whats going on. it would be much appreciated

not sure why thats happening, how many times has it happened? is it just one time? or more? can you provide a screen shot of the page before you hit the reply button? we've not had this kind of complaint before, and its not happened to me and Im dealing with heaps of PM's every day.

PS; Im moving this post to technical where we work to fix these problems.

By the looks of things, this issue has happened three time this week. The Pm's that were intended to be sent out came directly back to my inbox. Two different messages to two different forum members. Both came back to my inbox.

I was wondering why it had taken so long for the two forum members to reply back to me so I did a bit of detective work and found that I had some how replied back to my self on those occasions. Iv resent the messages but they went straight to my outbox messages instead of my sent messages.

Iv had to actually go into the forum member username and send a pm that way. Iv unfortunately deleted the messages that were sent back to my self so I cant really explain it any better without a screen print.

I know it dosnt really sound like a technical problem and probably was something i did wrong. I just thought i throw it out there to see if anyone else has have the same problem

The message sits in your outbox until the reader opens the message, so that part sounds OK, just not sure why they coming back to you unless you CCd yourself somehow.
